I first laid my hands on a piano at four years of age. It felt so right! Since then I've composed, performed and produced for the deepest underground dance floors, global pop charts, biggest Hollywood films, tv commercials of all kinds, corporate and radio branding, and the coolest video games.

I like making noises, been doing it for decades. I've been lucky enough to learn every era of sound creation and capture, from purely mechanical, through to the newest digital techniques. Recently I completed the sound design for The Artful Escape video game. It sounds freakin' awesome (see above award!) I'm currently working on my biggest sound design gig to date, the forthcoming game Mixtape.

Kylie, Carl Cox, Baz Luhrmann, Icehouse, Vanessa Amorosi, Moby, Russell Morris, Nicole Kidman; I've produced and/or remixed plenty of big names - as well lots of lesser known but supremely talented artists and bands, such as Gerling, Amiel, Stina Tester, Machine Gun Fellatio, The Lord's Garden, Zombie Sex Gang, Yid!, Kaz James, and even TISM.

Since the late eighties (!) I've been working out of my own facility, Fishtank Recording Studio. Rather than go on regular holidays I've plowed my money into building a formidable collection of musical instruments and recording gear. If you're looking for a particular guitar, synth, drum machine, effects pedal or microphone, either I've got it, or I've got something better.
